Whether its making or baking, I love creating for others. I grew up on a dairy farm with my family and since then, each member of my family have created or had their own business of some description. This ranges from a trucking and agricultural services business, to jewellery making to children's accessories, to property valuing through to floristry. Talk about variety, right?! Now I had no intention of ever starting a small business as such. It all started off in 2021, I was working full time as a teacher and had bought a cricut. Zac, my partner at the time (he's had a promotion to husband since), had plenty of hobbies which take him away here and there. So my cricut become a new little hobby, which quickly turned into creating gifts for people along with making things for Christmas and Easter etc. In 2023, Zac and I got married and was able to create our wedding signage which naturally then led into moving into event signage. Later in 2023, Zac and I found out we were expecting. Early 2024, we welcomed our little boy, Billy Joseph. As you can imagine, Ivy Inspired Creations was put on the back burner while we lapped up the precious moments of having welcomed our first born into the world. It wasn't until Christmas rolled around that I started to feel the urge to start making again. If any time of the year is going to awaken my creative senses, it is Christmas! Once we got through the busiest Christmas season we have had, we invested in a laser machine to expand & compliment what we already did. This saw a change in name to Ivy Edge Design to encompass what we do! Once we wrapped our head around a new machine and the software to go with it, we got to work. Testing, cutting and re-designing. You know what they say about practise! Whilst I am the one who is behind social media and the design making, I couldn't do it without my trusty 'apprentice', Zac, who is always the first to jump onboard to help with the laser creations.

Moments and memories are SO important to me. I genuinely love creating for you and your loved ones, all whilst I have our little one by my side. I just know these sentimental pieces are going to be part of those special moments and memories you make with your family.
